NEC IXシリーズのファーム・アップデート
自宅の19インチラックには冗長系やら予備やらとNECのIXシリーズのルーターがゴロゴロしています。
先日一台の電源が故障したIX3110が2台、IX2215が2台、そしてIX2105は4台も。💦
メインを3110から2215に切り替えたのですが、1年以上ファーム更新をしていなかったことを思い出し、
重い腰上げて全数ファームをアップデートしました。
それぞれのファームのファイルは
ix3100-boot-27.1-gate-ms-10.5.13.rap
ix2215-boot-19.1-gate-ms-10.5.13,rap
ix2105-boot-19.1-gate-ms-10.2.34.rap
これらを自宅のtftpサーバー（SOHO用NASで起動…Windows機から簡単にコピー出来るので…アドレスは192.168.9.200）に置いて
作業開始。
以下のログは購入したまま放置されてたIX2105のもの…ウチにあるものの中では一番ファームが古い。ｗ

ネットワーク越しでも可能なのですが、この時ばかりはシリアルコンソール接続しちゃいますねぇ。
再起動でエラーメッセージが出ても見えないので。💦
